As we continue to wrap up 2024, it is tradition to recap, reminisce, and of course, decide on our favorite albums from the year. SO much new music has come out and we're here to celebrate the albums that have been the soundtrack to our 2024, Q+A style. This is.. Album Of The Year: Take Your Pick (Rock, Metal, + more).
A lot of these albums (if not most) have gotten to hit the road and be played live, which has been so thrilling as a music enthusiast. We would love to hear about your year and a few other music related topics as we do our official rundown! Spotify Wrapped was one thing, but we're here to get a little deeper into the abyss and (hopefully) start some conversations with one another.
We took it upon ourselves to create an alphebetized list of bands that have released albums in 2024. Before you come for us, please know that no one is left out on purpose and we know that some of you will have answers beyond this list. We would love if you would share and help others to remember as well.
Let's show some love to the music we love from bands both large and small, as well as, genre inclusive (yes, outside of the rock/metal-verse too). Okay, enough chatting. Let's get into it! Write us your answers in the comments 🖤
Questions:
1. What are your top 5 albums this year? No order necessary.
2. What was your favorite tour this year?
3. Who is an artist you wanted to see, but couldn't this year?
Let us know!
Potential Bands For AOTY:
A: Alpha Wolf
P: Poppy
W: Wage War, Windwaker
We thought it would be a fun moment to spotlight the bands we love, exclusive of what our Spotify Wraps may have displayed. We can't wait to see if we align with you. Thanks for being here 🖤 XOXO, Curst

1) Coup de Grâce by SeeYouSpaceCowboy, I Want to Disappear by my hometown heroes: The Story So Far, Bring Me the Horizon for sure! Bad Omens and Knocked Loose both came in clutch with their new albums too!
2) The Eternals Tour! I loved it so much I saw it twice meet Connie of SYSC and Garrett of Silent Planet!
3) I wish I saw SYSC’s headlining tour but they were amazing support for the Eternals!
