The Curst Catalog: New Music (October 4, 2024)

True friends share music. We got you.

With the constant flow of new music and tours being announced, it's sometimes (always) really hard to keep up. For us, we love supporting our faves and finding new artists to love and share. Thus, your go-to guide, The Curst Catalog, was created. One of many listings of songs and albums for this community to dive into.

Each week we will condense a list of 4-6 songs/records released in the last week or so for your consumption. All within the metal, rock, alternative realm, they may even be directly related to previous (or upcoming !!!) collaborations with us. Our hope is that you find tracks you enjoy and continue to spread the love (and riffs) with the people around you.

Let's dive into this weeks featured 🖤

1. 'What I'll Leave Behind' from Void Of Vision

4 singles later, Void Of Vision release their fourth full length album titled, 'What I'll Leave Behind.' This record features 10 total songs and if we had to recommend only one of them, we would choose the very first track, 'Oblivion.' Give it a listen and let us know what you think. Out via UNFD.

2. 'Keep Me Close' from Halcyon Wander

Their third single this year, Halcyon Wander release 'Keep Me Close,' a melodic metalcore song rooted in pain, love, and self introspection. Don't skip this track if you're in need of an emotional, therapeutic experience.

3. 'WORLD {vs} PEACE' from Point North

A new single from Point North. Very unique to their punchy, pop punk-esque sound. The second song released in this (tentative) album cycle. This is 'WORLD {vs} PEACE.' Out via Hopeless Records.

4. 'Satin Sheets' and 'Bliss In Misery' from Hurtwave (Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker)

After 3 years since their previous release, Hurtwave put out two singles, 'Satin Sheets' and 'Bliss In Misery.' You may be familiar with one of the members of this duo, as he is the lead singer of popular, emotional, metalcore band, Dayseeker (Rory Rodriguez). This is a side project he started back in 2020. Give these tracks a listen and let us know what you think.

5. 'Let The Ocean Take Me - Redux' from The Amity Affliction

10 years. 10 songs. This is 'Let The Ocean Take Me - Redux' from The Amity Affliction. If this isn't an album you're familiar with, give it a listen, and let us know how your emotions are doing after. LTOTM is a forever favorite for many. It makes sense that this re-release is so special for those early TAA fans. Out via Pure Noise Records.

Feel free to listen, playlist, and/or share right from Spotify. Let us know which of these releases was your favorite in the comments! Hope you found something new to immerse into and we'll see you next time.

XOXO, Curst 🖤
