The Curst Catalog: New Music (September 19, 2024)

True friends share music. We got you.

With the constant flow of new music and tours being announced, it's sometimes (always) really hard to keep up. For us, we love supporting our faves and finding new artists to love and share. Thus, your go-to guide, The Curst Catalog, was created. One of many listings of songs and albums for this community to dive into.

Each week we will condense a list of 4-6 songs/records released in the last week or so for your consumption. All within the metal, rock, alternative realm, they may even be directly related to previous (or upcoming !!!) collaborations with us. Our hope is that you find tracks you enjoy and continue to spread the love (and riffs) with the people around you.

Let's dive into this weeks featured 🖤

 1. 'Reincarnate: 10 Year Anniversary' from Motionless In White

Continuing their legacy of metalcore bangers, Motionless In White is back with a tribute to one of their albums of the past. Two songs re-recorded, Reincarnate and Contemptress, and Unstoppable - NXT Version were released in addition to an entire merch collection, truly setting the stage for their iconic Apocalpse Fest. This spans two nights, October 31st and November 1st, and is where they will be playing the record in it's entirety and more. This is 'Reincarnate: 10 Year Anniversary.'

2. 'Teeth' from Underoath

A new single from Underoath. Very unique to their metalcore-esque sound. Notes of Bring Me The Horizon coming through in this release. Catchy, punchy, and melodic all at once. This is 'Teeth.' Out via MNRK Records.

3. 'Hold Me Down' from Hollow Front

Their second single this year, Hollow Front release 'Hold Me Down,' a riffy, melodic metalcore song rooted in pain, love, and self introspection. True to their OG sound and feeling evoking discography. Don't skip this track if you're in need of a punchy breakdown.

4. 'Greetings From Suffocate City' from The Funeral Portrait

6 singles (+ a TFP x Curst collection) later, The Funeral Portrait release their second full length album titled, 'Greetings From Suffocate City.' This record features Bert McCracken of The Used, Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, and more. Give it a listen and let us know what you think. Out via Better Noise Music.

5. 'The Reverence' from Until I Wake

The second single in this (tenative) album cycle. Until I Wake release 'The Reverence,' a riffy, metalcore song rooted in standing your ground and pursuing your desires despite negativity. Out via Fearless Records.
